In this week’s episode of “On the Road with Noble Outfitters,” we visited Millbrook Tack in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
“On the Road with Noble Outfitters” host and Noble Outfitters CEO Dan Costa was excited to visit the Michigan store and get sneak peek at store remodel. After being in business for over 25 years, it was time to acknowledge expanding and create a new beautiful look for the popular local tack store.
Dan introduced us to Megan Behler, the Millbrook Tack store manager. She showed us around the store and we had a chance to look at the new Millbrook Tack. It’s looking fabulous! If you are in the area, go check it out! Megan talked about the importance of taking care of the local customer and why they carry both Western and English tack. Not only that, they also carry a lot of beautiful boots, including Noble Outfitters All-Around Boots. With up to 40% lighter weight and no break-in time, no wonder these boots are favorites amongst the concert-going crowd. They are looking for stylish boots that don’t hurt and the Noble Outfitters All-Around Boots fit the bill to a T.
Dan then talked to Laura Howell, owner of Millbrook Tack. She shared a little bit about the history of the store, how her parents opened the first Millbrook Tack in their backyard back in 1992 – a true definition of mom and pop store! The avid Arabian horse riders decided to supplement their income by selling horse trailers and 25 years later, here they are, in a beautiful 20,000 square foot superstore.
We met the Noble Child of Tomorrow – Wyatt Tubergen. After that, it was time for the Recipe of the week – this time on the light side. Wilda Terrile, Millbrook Tack’s store manager and a “wannabe chef” presented her delicious Apple Beer Vinaigrette Greens. Get the full recipe HERE. Finally, Dan lent a hand to Millbrook staff and tried to help around the construction. But was he really helpful? Find out by yourself and watch the full episode below.
