In this week’s episode of “On the Road with Noble Outfitters,” we visited Schneiders Saddlery in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
Inside the store, “On the Road with Noble Outfitters” host and Noble Outfitters CEO Dan Costa was welcomed by the owner, Stan Schneider. Stan shared the story of the company and told us all about how his father Milt Schneider started the company a little over 70 years ago. It all began at a horse auction back in 1960… For the rest, watch the episode below. Since Dan and Stan are both pioneers in their respective industries, they talked about innovation and how it changed the horse auction industry.
The celebration of the good old-fashioned farm and feed store continued with Tammy Plants, Schneiders Merchandise Manager. With her 30+ years of experience, Tammy talked about saddles the stock at the store. Milt Schneider was something like Henry Ford of the horse world, first one to stock saddles instead of having customers wait months to have them custom made. The stock silver show saddle is a hand-tooled, hand-engraved saddle that is affordable, yet quality-made. No wonder Schneiders is so successful with this kind of product! We’ve met Charles Pinell, who introduced us to an exclusively designed product that Schneiders sells worldwide – any guesses what it may be? Finally, Stan’s son Stephen Schneider talked about horse blankets and fly masks and how important these products are to protect out four-hoofed friends.
Noble Child of Tomorrow was 8-year-old Tatum Carpenter who even brought her horse Mandy May with her. Tatum explained how she takes care of her horse, competes in horse shows, teaches her younger sister to ride and presented Dan with a cute horse drawing – this little girl has a busier life than many adults! Recipe of the Week was world famous Cinnamon Rolls, presented by Chris Johnson from the Sweet Shop – you are in for a treat! If you want to wake up to your house smelling great, don’t hesitate and get the tasty recipe HERE. At the end of the show, Dan even sat on a horse – is he in for a wild 8-second ride?
