In this week’s episode of “On the Road with Noble Outfitters” we visited Stagecoach West in Irving, NY.
“On the Road with Noble Outfitters” host and Noble Outfitters CEO Dan Costa was welcomed by the owner Jack Peacock. Jack showed us around his store, carrying a mixture of Western and English merchandise, and talked to Dan about different kind of saddles Stagecoach West has in stock. Listening to his customers’ needs, he has a saddle for almost any kind of activity.
Jack then shared a story how Stagecoach West got started back in 1981. Would you believe that the store was once upon a time a 30-by-24 cottage? Stagecoach now has merchandise in four different buildings totaling around 18,000 sq. feet. Still a family operation, the retailers is known for its community involvement, fundraisers, and a Cowboy Ball they are hosting each year.
Noble Child of Tomorrow was 10-year-old Gracie Billotte, a pint-sized expert on cowboy mounted shooting. She was only 3 years old when she got her first horse! The determined competitor got $100 to boost her bank account as a reward from Dan for all her hard work.
Recipe of the week was delicious Cowboy Chowder. Presented by Jack Peacock, the owner himself, Dan talked about his background in the culinary world and appreciated the flavor of the soup he was tasting. Interested to learn more? Get the recipe HERE.
Finally, we’ve seen a beautiful saddle, a true copy of a saddle John Wayne once owned. The intricately embellished leather saddle just happened to be the most expensive saddle in the store! Dan decided to try it on by himself . Did he jump on an actual horse? Watch the latest episode of On the Road with Noble Outfitters now!
