Dedication, perseverance, and hard work are words that often describe successful businesses in rural America. The same words have led the way for Noble Outfitters from the beginning to today, providing value priced solutions to every day problems that rural Americans face. Noble Outfitters knows there are many local retailers across rural America that serve their communities every day using the same words.
Each week, “On the Road with Noble Outfitters” features one of rural America’s small-but-not-forgotten retailers – stores that have helped shape their community and provided rural Americans everything needed to manage their homes, ranches, farms and lives. These retailers were the foundation of strength for the westward expansion more than 150 years ago, and they’re just as important and relevant today as they were in the mid-1800s. During RFD-TV’s Rural America Live on Thursday, February 11, Mark Oppold talked to Noble Outfitters CEO Dan Costa and Noble Outfitters President Kelsie Costa about the company’s newest venture, “On the Road with Noble Outfitters.”
‘It’s a celebration of the general store,” Dan Costa said, “We’ve been filming shows for about a month, it’s been a lot of fun going around. The first one starts on March 2,” he added. “We talk about how they participate in their region, every store caters to their local community and we celebrate that. General stores generally have everything, stores today are no different from those in the mid-1800, they have everything from toys, jewelry, saddles, tack, food – whatever the local need is, they have it. We are celebrating the American general store, part of the fiber of the growth of this country.”
