Ho Ho Ho-my goodness, why did we eat that last bite of food!? With the holidays upon us, don’t be afraid to welcome in overeating and full bellies for at least the next 7 days. With the hopes of not gaining any weight, we’re bringing you some pre-feasting work out tips,

#1: CARDIO

Get out and run!

Get out and run!

Get outside and do something! Yes walking around the mall for cardio counts, but it’s even better if you work up a sweat. Head to your local gym to run it out on the treadmill. Usually they’re give you a free 5-7 day pass. Another easy and great way to work up a sweat is jump roping! Start out in 10 minute increments and then work your way up. Feeling bored with both these options? What about doing a local 5k? There’s always a ton of holiday charity runs—and you’re doing something for a good cause!

#2 DRINK WATER

Hydration is key.

Hydration is key.

Stay hydrated no matter how much you’re consuming. Water is a great way to flush out your system and it keeps you from getting too bloated.

#3 STRECH

Even cowboys need to stretch it out.

Okay, listen. The least we can do for our bodies during this time a consumption is stretch it out. Not only does it keep our blood moving, it also will definitely give you extra room for pie 🙂

#4 EAT CLEAN

This is a little far fetched for the holidays, however, if you have the will power, we definitely recommend trying to eat as clean as you can—at least for breakfast & lunch! Think veggies, hard boiled eggs and fruit.
