Q & A with Chelsea R.

noble_outfitters_chelsea_blog

Our next Q & A comes from Chelsea Rice a.k.a. im_riding_miss_daisy. She’s been a long time favorite of ours and we’re pretty convinced she loves us almost as she loves pink… almost 🙂 In case you missed our previous Q & A with Madi, you can read it here. We’re really loving all the excitement around these ladies, but more importantly how excited you get! Read below for the full scoop on Chelsea’s riding past, present & future!

How did you get your start in the horse world?
I got started in the horse world when I was about 3 years old and was obsessed with stuffed animal horses and Breyer horses! I had TONS! I also would always want to do every pony ride when one was available! I was 5 years old when I first started to take lessons and go to pony camps. I was instantly in love.

What discipline do you ride?
I ride Hunter/Jumper.

How long have you been riding?
I have been riding since I was 5, I took a few years off during some busy school years.

What do you do when you’re not riding?
When I am not at the barn I am either working or doing something with my boyfriend or friends!

What is your favorite Noble Outfitters product?
My favorite product from Noble Outfitters is the Perfect Fit Glove.

Why?
I have a few pairs of them and they are made perfectly! They fit perfect and they are lightweight and last forever!

Describe your perfect Saturday.
My perfect Saturday is waking up about 10am, getting dressed in my barn attire, and heading to the barn for a nice long day with the ponies! I am always off of work on Saturdays so it’s always a great barn day!

What is your #1 goal?
My #1 horse related goal would have to be to get my horse Daisy and I to be competing in Jumper classics within the next year or so.

What is your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest horse related accomplishment would have to be all of the hard work and training I have put into my horse Daisy. She was broke when I got her but was sold because she was “uncontrollable”. We still have our off days, but we improve as a team with every ride!

What is one thing you can’t leave the house without?
When headed to the barn, one thing I can’t leave the house without would probably have to be my camera! I never want to miss a good photo opportunity!

Favorite social media channel? Why?
Instagram. I like Instagram because it gives you the chance to share photos and find a group of people that share the same type of photos as you and also have the same interests. Due to Instagram I have met quite a few amazing people! 🙂
