In this week’s episode of “On the Road with Noble Outfitters” we visited Murdoch’s and here is their delicious Jerky recipe they shared with us.
Use 1 1/2 lb. flank steak and cut across the grain in 1/4 thick strips. Put into Ziploc bag with marinade and marinate for 6-10 hours depending on desired flavor intensity.
1/2 C. beef broth (organic)
1/2 C. Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
4 Tbsp. white granulated sugar
1 tsp. espresso powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke – Hickory
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Smoke at approximately 225° for 2 hours.
